Organized by the club’s players, the first KrosseCup took place in July 2007.
Open to all, the KrossCup brought together mainly players from the Girondins and S.A. Mérignac along with friends, families and management, young and old alike, to celebrate the end of the season.
The first editions were such a success, and thanks to word of mouth, teams from different regions of France, Spain and Belgium soon came to visit us.
In 2018, the 8th edition brought together no less than 260 participants forming 22 teams. Setting a new record for attendance!
Traditionally, the KrosseCup is held biannually on the last weekend of June.
Family, friends, professional hockey players, beginners, or simply onlookers wishing to discover an extraordinary sport… Everyone is welcome!

Beverages are not included in the tournament fee.
Girondins Club is a 23-hectare sports estate.
A campsite at the edge of the forest has been reserved for you.
All you have to do is pitch your tents and settle in with your team members.
The entire Club (parking and camping) is monitored day and night, however we decline any responsibility in case of robbery. We rely on the KrosseCup spirit that has reigned for more than 10 years to ensure that everything goes without a hitch.
Valuables may be entrusted to our staff who will keep them, in safety, in a locked room.
Men’s/women’s locker rooms, showers and restroom facilities as well as a charging station for your electronic devices are at your disposal.
The staff, all event volunteers, is mainly composed of about ten active members of the Club de Hockey des Girondins de Bordeaux and friends.
They take part in the event organization, and family spirit is, therefore, paramount.
Caring, dynamic and above all attentive, each member of the staff has at heart to make this tournament a fabulous weekend for all Kupers.
All tournament profits will go to the Girondins Hockey sports association to finance hockey camps in France and abroad (Spain, Belgium, United Kingdom, etc.) for the Club’s junior teams. These young people can thus progress, and of course, practice their favourite sport with their friends while perpetuating the “family spirit” deeply ingrained since 1921, and hopefully become future Kupers in the years to come.
